The draw of the World youth Volleyball Championship

The World Junior Volleyball Championship was drawn and the Iranian national team recognized its global opponents

The 18th World Youth Volleyball Championship will be hosted by Argentina in Buenos Aires from August 2 to 11 this year

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) made the draw for this competition today (Friday, 31 March) and the players of Mohammad Vakili, the head coach of the national youth volleyball team of Iran, were placed in the third group of the competition with the teams of Nigeria, Colombia, South Korea, and Puerto Rico

20 teams will participate in these competitions, and the preliminary stage matches will be followed in the following four groups:

Group A: Argentina, Egypt, America, Serbia, and Costa Rica

Group B: Bulgaria, India, Japan, France, and Slovenia

Group C: Iran, Nigeria, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and South Korea

Group D: Italy, Brazil, Belgium, Mexico, and Chile

The first camp of Iran’s national youth team in 2023 started yesterday (Thursday, the 30 of March)

Mohammad Reza Al-Jalil, Abolfazl Mahdian, Pooya Aryakhah, Emran Gogjili, Saman Bahaoddin, Arshia Saadati, Taha Behbodnia, Armin Ghelichniazi, Shayan Mehrabi, Pooya Arab, Amir Ali Doliti, Amir Ali Ghalenoei, Mohammad Mani Alikhani, Seyed Matin Hosseini, Seyed Hossein Zamani, Benyamin Alaei, Mahan Barzkar, Morteza Nariman, Seyed Morteza Tabatabai, and Nima Aziz Mohammadlou are invited to this camp

Amir Khoshkhabar as supervisor, Mohammad Vakili (head coach), Hossamuddin Naiji and Aman Nazar Zadgholi Doji (trainers), Mehdi Khabaz (bodybuilder), Seyed Mohammad Kazem Vaez Mousavi (psychologist), Mohammad Mehdi Azarmehri (physiotherapist) and Mohammad Moin Vakili (analyzer) the technical staff of the national youth team is in the first training camp

Iran’s national boys’ volleyball team won the place of runner-up in the Asian Championship in 2023 and has won the quota to participate in the World Championship in 2023
