Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzni attended the Croatian Embassy in Tehran today (Wednesday, November  30) at the invitation of the Croatian ambassador, and the two sides emphasized increasing volleyball cooperation

In this meeting, Dr. Drago Stambuk, Croatian ambassador in Tehran, while praising the progress of Iranian volleyball in recent years, called for increased cooperation in the field of volleyball growth and development

He, who is the author of 25 books about the literature of Croatia and many countries of the world, including Iran, spoke about the rich culture of our country in this meeting and said: the literature and culture of the country of Iran has a very high position

The president of Iran Volleyball Federation also described the progress of this sport in our country in recent years and welcomed the increase in cooperation in the field of volleyball, and it was decided that the two volleyball federations of Iran and Croatia will officially increase their volleyball cooperation in the future by signing a memorandum of understanding

Holding joint training camps, using the ability of the executive forces to hold volleyball matches, identifying the opportunities and abilities available in the two countries to hold camps and matches, as well as the exchange of coaches will be among the axes of this memorandum in both men’s and women’s groups

At the end of the meeting, which was attended by Milad Taghavi, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation, the two sides presented gifts to each other as a memorial

Dr. Drago Štambok, the Croatian ambassador in Tehran, has done a lot of research on Iranian culture and has made many trips to the cities of Hamadan, Kermanshah, etc

This diplomat with experience has served as Croatian ambassador in England, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and some Arab countries
