The members of the Central Asian region board reviewed the next year’s calendar of competitions in today’s meeting (Sunday, December 4)
An extraordinary meeting of the Central Asian Regional Board of Governors was held online this afternoon (Sunday, December 4) by Mohammad Latif from Maldives and with the presence of representatives of the member countries
Dr. Mohammadreza Davarzani, President of the Iran Volleyball Federation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Confederation and the World Volleyball Federation, was also present at this meeting
In this meeting, the main focus of which was the review of the 2023 calendar of the central region, Davarzani and Yermek, the two presidents of the federation of countries active in the central Asian region in the field of volleyball and who have participated in most of the events in Asia, unanimously announced that the calendar of the next year of the central Asian region in To be fully coordinated with the next year’s calendar of the Asian Volleyball Confederation
In addition, according to the regulations of the World Federation competitions, next year’s calendar should be placed in the competition season (April 15 to October 15-April 26 to October 23), which does not overlap with club competitions. Asia, the host and its possible date were discussed in this meeting
It was also decided that the first version of this calendar will be prepared next week by the Central Asian Regional Office and will be provided to the members for final review
