The third meeting of the Board of Directors of the Volleyball Federation was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani.

Ali Asghar Monsan, Nasser Mirfakhraei, Fariba Mohammadian, Milad Taghavi, Mahnaz Shaddel, Mostafa Karkhaneh, Mehdi Eslami, Mohammad Javad Yazdanpanah and Mehrdad Hashemi were among the other participants in the meeting.

In this meeting, the performance of 2021 and the plans for the future of Iranian volleyball in 2022were reviewed, and the members of the board of directors expressed their views on ways to improve the plans, and finally the following items were approved, the most important of which are as follows.

The 2022 tournament calendar will be announced at the end of the year so that clubs can plan to participate in various competitions.

The required changes to the executive and disciplinary regulations of the competitions will be specified in the consultative meeting and will be submitted to the members of the board of directors for approval in the next meeting.

The members of the Advisory Council also approved the amendment of the executive and disciplinary regulations of the competitions.

Due to the numerous requests to participate in the Men’s Premier League, the number of league teams and special circumstances such as the prevalence of coronation or any other event should be seen in the changes in the executive and disciplinary regulations of the competitions.

Due to the revision of the World Volleyball Federation at the retirement age of referees, it was agreed with the return of Mohammad Shahmiri to the world of volleyball refereeing as a referee of the World Volleyball Federation.

The plan to build the administrative site of the Volleyball Federation in the Azadi Sports Complex in Tehran and to transform the current administrative complex into a complete camp for national teams was proposed, and the board of directors emphasized on serious follow-up until the result is achieved.

It was approved to continue the discussion of the federation’s support for volleyball in deprived areas, as in the past.

Training of human resources should be a priority in the federation’s programs so that in addition to the national teams of men and women, there is also youthfulness in the executive agents of the competitions.
