Two Iranian Referees Whistles in Age-Group World Championships

Tehran, Iran, May 23, 2021 – Two Iranian referees are nominated by FIVB to whistle for the Age-Group World Championships.

Ms. Narges Afshin with many Asian experiences is invited to judge his first world event in the FIVB Boy’s U19 World Championship from August 21 to September 2, 2021 in Iran.

Mr. Alireza Gharib is assigned as the referee for the FIVB Women’s U20 World Championship in Netherlands and Belgium on July 9-18, 2021 and the reserve referee for the FIVB Boy’s U19 World Championship in Iran.

He judged many events in the World and Asian events including being the reserve referee in world league and VNL from 2014 to 2019 as well as 2019 World University Students Championship, and Asian Championships.
