WCH QT/ Coaches Ready to Kick off a Strong Momentum
Ardabil, Iran, August 9, 2017 – The World Qualification Championship will begin on August 10 in pool A of Asia having five teams of Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, South Korea, and China in Ardabil where the Men’s U23 volleyball championship took place in May.
The head coaches expressed their ideas on the eve of the opening day in the press conference where over forty journalists received the congrats message of head coach of Iran for their National Journalists day.
All the head coaches found the level of tournament high and very important for them to play in World championship.
Raul Lozano, China Coach: “I am happy to get back to Iran but this time with Chinese team. This tournament is very important for us. I hope we will improve our result from the one we achieved in Indonesia.”
Igor Kolakovic, Iran Coach: “We respect all participating teams here. We would like to play in World championship next year in Bulgaria & Italy, so we will try our best.”
Igor Nikolchenkov, Kazakhstan Coach: “Our team had a very hard work. We will try our best in every game to go to the world championship.”
Missimiliano Giaccardi, Qatar Coach: “For us, it is nice to take the challenge against the strong teams. We are the Cinderella of the tournament. of course, no one enter the court to lose. We will try our best to get the most of the tournament.”
It is noteworthy to add that Qatar have never found the chance to qualify for World championship like the Cinderella is looking forward to achieve it.
Kim Hochul, Korea coach: “I hope we play our best and I hope all the teams here do their best.”
