WCH QT/ Korea gained the 1st victory of QT against Kazakhstan

Ardabil, Iran, August 14, 2017 – South Korea beat Kazakhstan 3-1 (25-18, 25-12, 28-30, 25-22) to close the Qualification Tournament with victory at Rezazadeh 6000-seat stadium where Iran and China have already secured the berth for World Championship.

South Korea showed dominance in the first two sets and did not let the Kazakhs practice their plans as they easily closed the set 25-18 and 25-12. Kazakhstan were not willing to lose the match that easy and entered the court with a different plan and in a very glamorous trade could close the set 30-28. No.12 of Kazakhs, Kadirkhanov was angry with their individual mistakes.

The fourth set was similar to the third one as both teams levelled 6-6 up until 11-9 that Kazakhstan left Koreans in trail. Kazakhstan regained fighting spirit to reach the second TTO ahead of the tough Korea 16-11 but Korea soon after came back to the match make it tie 20-20 and finished the set 25-22.
