Week 14 – Sirjan Foulad Snatch Back Top Spot
Tehran, Iran, December 12, 2020 – Mohammad Reza Tondravan, the ex-coach of Doha’s Al-Arabi drives his players to a breathtaking tiebreaker-win (25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-8) against Ramsar Hoursan to snatch back the top spot in Men’s premier league of Iran.
From the low-ranked teams, Tehran Paykan could move up a step higher by 3-1 (25-16, 25-20, 22-25, 25-12) win against Ardakan. The victory takes place after five consecutive losses which demolished them and their come-back revives the team in week 14.
The other significant change of the week 14 goes to Qazvin Shahrdari with improving their place with jumping up two steps higher in 9th place. They defeated Gonbad Shahrdari 3-1 (30-32, 28-26, 25-22, 25-21) in a hard-fought match.
The winners of the week 14 are Urmia Shahrdari, Qazvin Shahrdari, Sirjan Foulad, Amol Haraz Labaniat, Tehran Paykan, and Yazd Shahdab.
The week 15 will be held on December 14 and one belated seventh-week match occurs on Tuesday, December 15.
