Week 15 – Sirjan Foulad Crowing the Semi-Season of the Super League

Tehran, Iran, December 14, 2020 – The week 15 of the men’s premier league was held today on Monday with six matches in volleyball Federation Hall and Volleyball House of Tehran with Sepahan Fould, Urmia Shahrdari, Sirjan Foulad, Tehran Paykan, Amol Haraz Labaniat, and Gonbad Shahrdari recording as the winners.

In-form Sirjan Foulad performed superbly to beat Ardakan Khatam in thrilling four-setter (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-23) to keep the top of the Iran Men’s Super League standings.

The final week of the semi-season observed five lop-sided matches all resulting in straight-set victory.

Gonbad Shahrdari b Urmia Azarbatri 3 -0 (25-21, 25-18, 26-24)

Varamin Shahrdari will face off Tehran Saipa as the belated seventh-week match on Tuesday, December 15 to close the semi-season matches.

The final standings of week 15 found Sirjan Foulad, Urmia Shahrdari, Sepahan Foulad make a top-three finish and tomorrow’s match would make no changes in the top four positions.
