Week 18 – Urmia Shahrdari taking the lead
Tehran, Iran, January 03, 2021 – The week 18 of the men’s premier league was held with six matches in volleyball Federation Hall and Volleyball House of Tehran with Sirjan Foulad, Sepahan Foulad, Urmia Shahrdari, Tehran Saipa, Amol Haraz Labaniat, and Ramsar Hoursan as the winners.
Urmia Shahrdari takes the lead and preserves his top position with the easy victory against his hometown rival, Urmia Azarbatri 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-22).
Sirjan Foulad, the champion of the half season relegated from the third place to the fourth in spite of beating Qazvin Shahrdari in straight set (25-21, 25-15, 25-20).
Two teams of Yazd Shahdab and Varamin Shahrdari rested in the third week of away round.

Week 19 of the preliminary round will continue on Saturday, January 09, 2021 in two halls of Volleyball Federation and Volleyball House of Tehran.
The final standings of week 18 is having Urmia Shahrdari, Sepahan Foulad, and Amol Haraz Labaniat in a top-three finish.
