Week 22 – Top Three Teams Stamping in Playoffs

Tehran, Iran, January 20, 2021 – The top three teams of the table after week 22 stride into the playoffs in Iran Men’s Super Volleyball League.

Overall eight teams are to move up to the playoffs from which Sepahan Foulad, Urmia Shahrdari, and Amol Haraz Labaniat as the top three teams hold their positions stable in the table and moved to the playoffs with their impressive wins over their rivals in week 22.

In the most breathtaking match, Amol Labaniat struggle to beat Tehran Saipa 3-2 (31-29, 30-28, 23-25, 22-25, 15-10) to record as the only five-set thriller game.

Six matches were held in Week 22 at two halls – Volleyball Federation Hall and Volleyball House of Tehran, with Sirjan Foulad, Varamin Shahrdari, Amol Haraz Labaniat, Sepahan Foulad, Urmia Shahrdari, and Yazd Shahdab finishing with victory.

Sepahan Foulad b Urmia Azarbatri 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-21)

Sepahan Foulad stayed on the top of the standings after Week 22, while Urmia Shahrdari, and Amol Haraz Labaniat came in second and third places respectively.
