Women’s League set the debut with Sarmayeh on top
The 15th Iranian Women’s Volleyball League started with the victories of Tehran Parseh, Sarmayeh Bank, and Zob Ahan.
As the Public Relations of Volleyball Federation reported, the 15th women’s volleyball league will begin with seven teams in one single preliminary pool.
Tehran Parseh, Pars, Islamic Azad university, Esfahan Zob Ahan, Tehran Saipa, Sarmayeh Bank, and Tabriz Shahrdari are the seven participating teams. Three matches were held and the winners of week one are Tehran Parseh, Zob Ahan, and Sarmayeh bank. Tabriz Shahrdari took the rest and will have her debut match on the second week. In so doing, the top three teams are Sarmayeh Bank, Tehran Parseh, and Isfahan Zob Ahan recoding one win and three points apiece. The other four teams are respectively Azad university, Tehran Parseh, Saipa, and Tabriz Shahrdari.

Sarmayeh Bank v. Tehran Saipa: 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-14)
Isfahan Zob Ahan v. Azad University: 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-21)
Tehran Parseh v. Pars: 3-0 (25-10, 25-29, 25-12)
