Women’s Premier League; Set a new record in the number of simultaneous Internet viewers
Kashan Barij Esans volleyball team defeated Isfahan Zobahan, the proudest team of the Women’s Premier League, to reach the final match of this competition and became Saipa’s opponent.
The third match between Isfahan Zobahan and Kashan Barij Esans in the semi-finals of Women’s Volleyball Premier League “Sardar Delhaha” Cup was followed (Tuesday, February 15) at the Volleyball Federation Hall.
Kashan Barij Esans volleyball team defeated its opponent in this match with authority and in three consecutive sets to reach the final match in its second appearance in the Women’s Premier League.
Farzaneh Shaban Khamseh’s students won the competitions with scores of 25 to 18, 25 to 18 and 25 to 15, so that they finally won two of the three semi-final stage matches and Saipa’s opponent defended the championship title in the final match.
This was the fifth match between Zobahan and Barij Esans teams of Isfahan province in this year’s Premier League, and the Kashanis experienced a total of three wins and two defeats.
Isfahan Zobahan team is the most honorable team participating in this competition with six championships. The team also has seven runner-up titles and two bronze medals in its record in the Premier League.
The Zobahan will face Peykan in their last match in the 1400 Women’s Premier League on Thursday to win third place.
The match, which was broadcast live by Ali Shakeri on the Volleyball Federation’s Aparat channel, set a record of 992 simultaneous virtual spectators in the Women’s Premier League.
The previous record with 711 virtual spectators was related to the first match between Zobahan and Barij Essan Kashan in the semi-final stage (February 13) of the Women’s Volleyball Premier League.
