The Paykan volleyball team left for the city of Betim in Brazil for the fifth time in the world championship of men’s clubs
The 17th World Men’s Club Volleyball Championship will start on Wednesday, December 7, with the participation of six teams hosted by the city of Betim, Brazil, and Paykan team left for the venue of these competitions last night, December 6
14 players along with seven technical staff of Paykan team arrived in Imam Khomeini Airport and left for Qatar to go from this players to Betim city where the tournament will be held
Hamzeh Zarini, Mohammad Taher Vadi, Mohammad Fallah, Pouria Fayazi, Amin Esmaeilnezhad, Armin Tashakori, Mohammad Reza Hazratpour, Reza Rezaei, Ali Shafiei, Amireza Sarlak, Mohammad Reza Mashhadi, Reza Aslani, Armin Afshinfar, Amir Hossein Saberi are the 14 players sent by Pikan to these competitions
Peyman Akbari as the head coach, Gholamreza Momeni Moghadam, Morteza Ahadi and Ali Fatahi (coaches), Erfan Madah (physiotherapist), Amin Shakri (analyzer) and Saeed Ali Asghar as the head members of the technical staff representing Asia accompany Paykan team in these competitions
In addition to Paykan team, five other teams include Perugia of Italy (the third team of Europe), Vôlei Renata of Brazil (the third team of South America), Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei of Brazil (the host and champion of South America), Itambé Minas of Brazil (the runner-up of South America) and Trentino Itas of Italy. (European runner-up) are present in this year’s competition
